Samantha Lippett (b. 1992) is an artist, curator and lecturer working and living between London and Vilnius.

They are an expert in social practice and community radio, with over a decade of international experience to date. They have held positions at PUBLICS Checkpoint Helsinki and South London Gallery where they developed educational and public art projects such as the artist designed playground ‘Tools for Imagination’ by Céline Condorelli (2019-21) and a 24-hour radio broadcast ‘Bank Holiday Broadcast’ with Resonance FM, Harold Offeh and Barby Asante, among others (2020). They are interested in exploring locations through sound and collaborative broadcasting which has recently manifest in the satellite radio project ‘Silainiai Radijas’ (LT, 2021); a sound work for the ‘Aural Exhibition’ series by Index Stockholm launched at the 59th Venice Biennale (2022) and the outreach programme ‘Local Radio' for Akee Space for Culture and Education (LT, 2022). Currently they work as a curator for Palanga Street Radio (LT) and freelance internationally.

This year Samantha co-founded the ‘Independent Community Radio Network’ (ICRN) that connects like-minded community radios across Europe funded by Nordic Culture Point. This initiative has led to their participation in the 'European Media Conference’ by Sphera Network (BE, 2022) and regular broadcasting on community radios across Europe. Their practice has received funding from the Association of Art Historians, Frame Contemporary Art Finland and Lithuanian Council for Culture and they have been curator-in-residence at Chisenhale Art Place (2016) and Rupert Residency (2020). Samantha holds an MFA in Curating from Goldsmiths, University of London (2014-16) and has lectured in Visual Cultures at Middlesex University London and University of Brighton since 2017.

Samantha is open to proposals and collaborations within the field of contemporary art, education and community radio.
